About IABC

IABC Nashville members and guests enjoy networking opportunities each month through professional development luncheons and more informal social “mixers” during the year.

Our chapter is diverse, with members representing area agencies, broadcast stations, corporations, universities, and nonprofit organizations. Monthly luncheons feature guest speakers offering professional development opportunities on the second Wednesday of each month at Sunset Grill Restaurant (2001 Belcourt Ave)  from 11:30am to 1pm. Free parking available in the building’s lot, on the street, or behind the restaurant.

Our mission is to provide learning opportunities for our members. Our professional development sessions provide members with new insights into the latest communication trends, technology, and issues facing the industry. Our goal is to help our members achieve their own objectives whether it’s strengthening their current duties and responsibilities, career advancement, exposure to new concepts and media, keeping up with the latest technology, or establishing a valuable network of professional contacts.

IABC Nashville offers; ties to job bank services, a student career night, and the annual communication ‘Gold Pen’ awards program.
