- Will Minkoff – Partner, Nashville Severe Weather
Will Minkoff is an insightful and experienced preparedness planner. He has significant planning and training experience in healthcare, public safety, education, and non-profit sectors. Most notably he has consulted on continuity and emergency operations planning initiatives for nine different state emergency management agencies (EMAs), 14 of the 40 largest cities in the U.S. But this is just a day job.
Will is also a partner in the time-consuming and difficult-to-manage weather media company, Nashville Severe Weather. The three partners at Nashville Severe Weather have received national attention for their detailed and witty weather analysis. Over their 10-year “career” they have won the Walter J. Bennett Public Service Award from the National Weather Association and a Distinguished Service Award from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
This will be an interactive discussion with plenty of time for Q&A. To submit a question in advance, please send us an email.

In an effort to continue to provide quality, engaging virtual professional development programming each month, our member rate for monthly events is increasing to $5. This will grant you exclusive access to the recorded presentation after the event. We recognize the last year has been trying for many of our members and friends, and this increase may be unattainable for some. If you feel this cost will prevent you from participating in our professional development events, please contact us. We appreciate your commitment to our chapter during the last year as we transitioned to a virtual environment and we look forward to returning to in-person events as soon as we are able.
